Vision and Mission
Those in the Ignatian tradition have always inserted themselves in different societies and cultures. The Jesuit European Social Centre, successor in Brussels of the Jesuit European Office (OCIPE), aims to keep alive this inspiration.
JESC’s Vision
In the light of Christian faith, JESC seeks to promote the construction of Europe, and specifically of the European Union, grounded on social justice, peace and freedom. We shall support the Jesuits of Europe and their collaborators in this mission; and we shall continue to reflect on European values and responsibilities, promoting Europe’s solidarity internally and with the wider world.
